two concept cars

Audi shark
It tells a future with no wheels.

Nissan Land Glider

Actually automotive concepts are quite important to a car company, they show the ambition of car companies and their expected development. Personally, automotive designs are usually cliched but these 2 concept cars is quite innovation on both design and mechanical level.
A wood block house designed by a japanese architect Sou Fujimoto
Very simple structure and the house is just formed by some wood blocks. Maybe he is inspired by the wood block game Jenga. The house is very natural as it allows great penetration of sun light and there are trees around the house. I think citizens need something like, to contact more with nature.

It will go fast

They are ads for the GTI series of the company Volkswagen. Personally, i think it is a creative but bad idea. Firstly, there are more elegant ways to show 'tough guys in fear' than pissed pants and it does affect the image of the company since people may think it is in bad taste. Moreover, it shows the unsafety of the. Maybe these guys pee because of the braking system or shock absorbers of the cars.

Typography in animation

Here are two text-based animation. The first one is created from a psychatric answering tape while that of the second one is a story. Actually I think sometimes these kinda text-based animation needs so much creativity. The main character of the video is just text and thats the only thing you can play with. Of course, you can simply arrange the text in the animation but thats meaningless.

The differences between Chinese and German in the eyes of a Chinese designer

They are graphic designs from a Chinese designer Liu Yang which have lived in Germany for a long time. They are all about the differences between Chinese and German in the eyes of her. Although the graphics are simple and there are not much colors, we can still understand the idea behind. Less is more, thats always true. Good designs dont need complexity.
